Psychic Vampires

Updated on May 7, 2013

What are they?

Have you ever been in a room with other people and found yourself feeling tired, having a headache or even being a little off-balance and couldn't figure out why? Well take a look around you. Someone could be tapping into your energy. If you know somebody with whom every time you get together you find yourself excessively tired afterwards, chances are they may be a psychic vampire. Unlike popular opinion about possessions, where you need to be weak or give permission in some way for the entity to take hold, there is no such restrictions on psychic vampirism.

Some people do not create enough energy on their own for day-to-day activities. In order to make it through the day, these people drain the energy of those around them to use for themselves. This can be done with or without the knowledge of either the victim or the perpetrator. These people are known as Psychic Vampires, Psionic Vampires, Energy Sappers, Soul Suckers and other such names.

How it works.

We all know that matter is composed of energy. Energy is all around us. It flows through us. Energy is used and replaced as needed by food, rest and other factors, and provided we are healthy, our bodies will maintain an equilibrium of that energy. Psychic vampires, however, are unable for whatever reason to produce enough energy to replace the energy used in their daily activities. As a result they loose that equilibrium and they look, consciously or not, for a way to supplement their energy level.

Anyone can learn to take energy from others, however the psi-vamp has a need and craving to acquire more energy and often do so without even knowing it. The usual source to pull from is another human being. This can occur through various processes including eye contact, physical touch, astral means and others. Another source could be the surrounding environment including radio waves, ultra violet, infra red, and the rest of the electromagnetic spectrum. If this source is used, then radios, cell phones, computers and other electronic devices may not function properly around the psi-vamp. In most instances, whether drawing from other people or the environment, the psychic vampire reaches out with astral threads or “tentacles” for its source and drains it of its energy.

Effects.

The victims of a psychic attack can have different and varied reactions. Most victims are usually excessively tired after being around a specific person for any length of time, after an uncommonly vivid dream which may indicate an attack while asleep, or after an intense and/or traumatic interaction with someone. Other effects range from minor headaches to severe migraines, and from minor upset stomach to severe abdominal cramping. Some victims may experience light heartburn to a possible stroke, or minor fatigue to paralyzing immobility. Normally a victims aura will be affected by an attack. A victim's aura is often covered with telltale black splotches, sometimes with black tentacles leading back to the psi-vamp. These tentacles are only present during the actual feeding.

The victims can almost always recover with plenty of rest and nutrition, and the effects of the feeding are usually short in duration. However once a person has been victimized, it may cascade into a vicious cycle. The victim is left weakened by the attack, which impedes their ability to defend against further attack. This weakened state then makes them an easier and tempting target for more feedings by either the same or other psychic vampires. If the person is routinely and repeatedly victimized, they may interpret their constantly drained state of energy as an inability to make enough of themselves and in turn, may actually turn to psychic vampirism as well. Again, all this could be happening with no one being consciously aware of what is going on.

What you can do.

So what can you do to stop it? To protect yourself you first must be aware if you are being attacked. To do this, you need to be aware of your environment. Develop an awareness of your own energy and Self. Meditate. Learn to interpret your body's signals. It tells you when you burn your hand. It tells you when you're hungry. It even tells you when you're too hot or too cold. We all know what these signals are and how they feel so well that we don't have to think about it. Your body tells you when you're being victimized by psychic attack as well, and with practice and time you will learn to interpret these signals as well. Focus and become attuned to your body's subtle reactions to the environment around you.

Recovery is simple. Relax, eat and sleep. If you always feel drained or tired after spending time with a specific person, and you think he or she may be a psychic vampire, the best thing you can do is stay away from that person for a while. Keep a regular sleep schedule. Eat nutritious and well balanced meals. Meditate and relax. Take time for yourself if possible and keep stress to a minimum so that your body can produce enough to build up your energy reserves. The best overall advice is to just be aware of your Self and your surroundings.
